Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By accessing or using SafeHabit's website, mobile application, partner dashboard, APIs, or related services ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of the Service
SafeHabit is a self-chosen commitment tool. The user decides protection ahead of time; SafeHabit helps them honor that decision later. The app may send optional weekly summaries to a trusted supporter you choose. A cool-down before turning protection off may apply when you enable it. You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with applicable laws and only with proper consent where required.
3. Accounts and payment
You may need to create an account or link a device. You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Paid features are billed according to the plan you choose. Payment processing may be handled by third parties (e.g., PayMongo). Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our or others' systems. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
SafeHabit and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including software, design, and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service as provided. You do not acquire any ownership rights.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeHabit and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Changes and termination
We may change these Terms or the Service. We will notify you of material changes (e.g., via email or in-app notice). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach or at our discretion, with notice where required.
9. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to exercise a right does not waive it.
